Andrew Primitive Baptist Church
On January 3, 2009 this picture was taken of the Providence
Primitive Baptist Church, Wisconsin. The Church building is near
completion. It sets upon a scenic hill near Beaver Dam Wisconsin. A dedication
meeting will be announced soon.
May all who meet in this house have the
humility and commitment illustrated in is passage: “For a day in thy
courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the
house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psa
84:10)
May the “house of God” that meets in this
house so reflect the glory of God that it will be as Isaiah wrote, “And many
people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the
LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways,
and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the
word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” (Isa 2:3)
On
January 13, 2008 we rejoiced in the Baptism of Sister Hannah Oyler. In speaking
with Sister Oyler before she was Baptized, I asked what things she liked about
the Church. She mentioned several things that she liked, including the
preaching. I asked her what she liked about the preaching, she said, in a
matter-of-fact manner, because it tells me about Jesus.

On October 17, 2007 we were
blessed to have Elder Doyle and Sis. Mary Hurst with us. Elder Hurst is
the Pastor of Big Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church, Franklin, TN.

On September 22, 2007

Our Lord very gently took Sister
Landingham home on September 18, 2007. She had reached the great age of 94
and remained very alert and of a good mind until shortly before she passed
away. She had been a faithful member of St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church
in Panama City, Florida since 1959. She was born January 16, 1913, in
Geneva County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph
Landingahm and son, George Harlan Landingham. She is sorely missed by Her
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren,
Church family, and a great host of friends.

Sister
Vassie Mae Geoghagan Landingham
- Elder Clyde and Sister Winifred Farmer were with us
Sunday Evening, September 3, 2006. Elder Farmer preached a wonderful
sermon, outlining the mighty hand of God to deliver His people in times of
distress.

We
were privileged to have Elder Jeff and Sister Christy Winfrey, from Dawson
Springs, Ky. with us at St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church, July 5, 2006

Elder J.C. Stanaland Baptized Sister Rebekah Oyler into St. Andrew Primitive
Baptist Church on Sunday, August 6, 2006. [When I asked Sister Rebekah what
Baptism meant to her, she, without hesitation replied, “It means that Christ
died for me and was put in the grave and rose again.” That’s quite a testimony
for a nine year old. jcs]

Elder & Sister Bond with their granddaughters and daughter - Sister Elaine
Bond; Granddaughters: Alaina and Olivia Bond; Elder Thomas Bond; and daughter:
Sister Tammy Oliver were with us at St. Andrew July 19, 2006.
